Overcommitted Rhythm

It’s conference season, which means I’ve somehow agreed (this week alone) to give a workshop, sit on a panel, and moderate another; all while my day job is integrating new software and my responsibilities are growing faster than my caffeine tolerance.

The system integration? A hot mess.
Prepared for this week’s NEAC conference? You’re funny.
And my coaching clients? Every single one seems to have chosen this exact week to confront themselves in one way or another. It’s gotta be an Aries full moon!
Oh, and it’s Tuesday. Often the bane of my workweek.
Because Tuesdays have history. They’re the days that test my stride, challenge my balance, and whisper, “You sure you can juggle all that?”

Between webcam test sessions (“why do I look like I’m broadcasting from a cave?”) and actual work deadlines, I’m also trying to enjoy my favorite season. My birthday season. The cozy season when I should be wandering through leaves reading gothic romance novels, not fighting my ring light for dominance.

But honestly, there’s a strange rhythm in this ridiculous balancing act and SNAK keeps me from combusting: Like you didn’t know I was going here???

-Skills to stay upright.
-Networks to vent with.
-Activities to reconnect.
-Knowledge to remind me I’ve done harder things.

So, tell me: when all the plates are spinning, and the universe throws in a bonus one labeled “just because,” do you slow down and catch your breath? Or do you just call it personal growth and keep twirling?

Drop your survival strategy below. Bonus points if it involves flat out denial, or pretending your webcam is malfunctioning.
